Toyota, Mirai Model Tested!

Sunday, November 24, 2019

Toyota developed a stationary electric generator that adapted the fuel cell system used by Mirai De, a hydrogen fuel cell car.

According to a statement from Toyota, the hydrogen fuel cell generator tests recently conducted in the office, factory and other commercial areas is intended to offer environmentally friendly energy at an affordable price.

For this purpose, the brand plans to produce low cost, high performance compact generators with hydrogen fuel cell system.

The generator continues to be tested by Toyota and will run for 24 hours a day and generate 100 kilowatts of power. Energy efficiency, power, durability and ease of use of the generator will be combined in these tests.

According to the results of the tests, Toyota aims to use fuel cell generators in many factories. At the same time, the generators will be filled with hydrogen generated during the production of fuel cell systems. So Toyota will make hydrogen use more efficient.

In 2015, Toyota announced its intention to build and produce Zero Emission Factories in line with its 2050 Environmental Goal. Within the scope of this target, Toyota is continuously reducing the amount of carbon dioxide produced during production.
