Koenigsegg has set new record new own [Video]

Monday, September 30, 2019

Sport Bugatti Chiron's past named after the record attempt in recent weeks often talked with Koenigsegg a new trial against us.

The Swedish manufacturer continues to update its records. On Monday (September 23rd), an interesting record attempt took place at the nearby Råda airport in the town of Lidköping. From 0 to 400 km/h and in 31.49 seconds, the Koenigsegg Regera was able to stop abruptly even at high speeds. Thus, a record of 0-400-0 km/h was broken. The model was driven by Sonny Persson, who worked as a test drive at the factory.

Almost two years ago, Koenigsegg set a new record of 0-400-0 km/h using an Agera RS in Nevada. The 33.29 second record is a great value even for today. Company officials say the model can go even faster if the right conditions are met.

What do we know about Regera?

Usually,  we are used to seeing carbon fiber body panels in high-end cars. However, the sports manufacturer took it a step further and covered the entire body of Regera with pure carbon fiber. The so-called ıplak bare carbon fiber çalış study did  not use even the  thin epoxy layer normally applied to the carbon fiber. Instead,  a special polish was applied by hand to provide protection against stone and scratches.

If you look at the technical details of the Koenigsegg Regera'nın, the vehicle has a  5.0-liter DOHC V8  engine. Supported by 3 electric motors, the model stands out with 1,500 horsepower  and  2,000 Nm of torque. Let us  state that Regera, which is worth 2.2 million dollars, will produce 80 pieces in total and the production quota will be filled in 2017.
