Japanese Giant Honda Recalls Accord Models

Saturday, August 17, 2019

The Chinese partner of Japanese automotive maker Honda, Guangcou Automobile Group, recalls 222,664 cars in China because of a chronic failure in their engines.

China State Market Supervision and Regulation Administration made a statement on the subject. Accordingly.

Honda's Chinese partner GAC Group, 222 thousand 674 vehicle engine systems due to an error in the cooling device is recalling. This error only includes the “Accord sedan” model produced on 25 July 2017-7 August 2019. Another information that comes from the repair of defective vehicles will be done free of charge.

What do we know about the new Accord?

On the design side, the Honda Accord, which carries similar genes with other models of the brand, looks more muscular and dignified than its previous generation.  Reflecting the liftback style low ceiling current to this model, Honda  preferred to lower the new Accord by 15 mm and shorten it by 10 mm. However, the axle distance is extended by 55 mm, which means that the vehicle is shortened to its predecessor and widened  on the inside.

The 2018 Honda Accord appears to be enriched on the technology side. In addition to the fully digital 7-inch dashboard, it features an 8-inch multimedia display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Features such as lane tracking, emergency brake and adaptive cruise control enable you to use the vehicle as  semi-autonomous. In addition, wireless fast charging, Bluetooth, internet connection, head-up display and adaptive suspension, such as many features added as optional.

New engine option can come to our country!

Honda Accord has not been brought to our country for a while due to the high tax bracket. Under the hood of the new Accord 1.5-liter 195-hp turbo engine  option, the vehicle can return to our country. With this new engine from Civic, 6-speed manual and CVT automatic transmission options are available. In addition, a 2-liter, 256-horsepower engine option will produce a more Accord'da option. This engine will also have the option of a new 10-speed automatic transmission.
