Wednesday, July 17, 2019

The Bentley 100 GT concept car, designed by Bentley in honor of its 100th birthday, has the foresight not only of the brand but also of luxury cars with its electric and autonomous driving.

Bentley Motors celebrates its 100th anniversary by unveiling the future of luxury mobility at its headquarters in Crewe. Designed and developed over the years by the brand, the concept car Bentley EXP 100 GT is reshaping the future of Grand Touring, and is positioned as the physically embodied form of the future Bentley brand.

Designed from the inside to the outside, taking advantage of an all-electric platform, the EXP 100 GT reshapes the Grand Tourer for the world of 2035. This is a world of shared luxury experiences where the passenger and driver have equal status to enjoy their own extraordinary journeys. The result is a future vision commensurate with Bentley's status as the most sought-after luxury brand in the world.

Luxury Beyond Mobility

The Bentley EXP 100 GT redefines the car as an extraordinary and emotional human experience that is enriching and ominous. Bentley's vision is to imagine the journeys of the future, based on the luxury design and craftsmanship experience that is now celebrated in the company's 100th year around the world.
The elegant and muscular exterior of the Bentley EXP 100 GT explores the brand's future design direction. It contains the company's DNA that is impossible to be confused with other cars, and thus appears to be an instantly detectable Bentley.

But this Bentley travels to the future. Bentley EXP 100 GT, made of lightweight aluminum and carbon fiber, is 5.8 meters long and almost 2.4 meters wide.

Bentley Personal Assistant in the car predicts the needs of passengers. For example, reactive seat surfaces detect the occupant's sitting position while driving and automatically provide more support to where the need is detected. In addition, the EXP 100 GT is equipped with biometric sensors to monitor eye and head movements and even tension.

Performance and Technology-Reshaping the Grand Tour

An extraordinary step on the road to a carbon-free future, the EXP 100 GT's electric motors allow the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 2.5 seconds. The top speed of the car is 300 kilometers per hour, the 4 electric motors produce torque up to 1500 Nm, while the range is 700 meters.
