Emission scandal jumped to Mercedes

The Federal Motor Vehicle Authority (NWA) announced that there are concrete suspicions in Mercedes' C and GLD series of investigations, that emissions manipulation is in the exhaust system and that research is continuing.

German Federal Transport Minister Andreas Scheuer requested the Federal Motor Transport Authority to recall vehicles by instructing Mercedes to promptly investigate further suspicious cases.
